I think the bulk of the 2014 v6 mustangs are the regular models as they are the easiest ones to afford. My 2014 mustang premium stickered for $30,275.00. Not that inexpensive!!!

A Crap load, there are actually more 2014's than 13's since it was a longer production run.

I've never seen a premium rental. They've always been base models.

The black one I rented in Las Vegas was a premium v6.

Most of the Mustangs I have ever rented in Honolulu HI, Los Angeles CA, Ft Myers FL, etc... Have been Premium. Both in 5.0 and V6 cars, both Coupes and Verts. I did rent a base Vert once in Honolulu in 2010.

These were all from Avis/Budget group or Hertz. I would never recommend Hertz after they screwed up my C7 Vette reservation and blamed it on their "system" and didn't even offer me anything but so sorry have a nice day as we stood there with our luggage in LA.

I walked right across the street and rented a new 2015 5.0 GT Vert from Avis!

The cost of the car is not really the factor of them buying base vs premium cars. Some lease from the manufacturers others buy, but they also sell at some point to recoup their investment. They take into account resale etc...

It was rental of a V6 premium vert in Hawaii that moved me to order one for myself.

I haven't seen a lot out here. Just base V6s and they were probably rentals. I would have definitely considered a V6 Premium had there been some out here.

I think because of the price on a premium upgrade, I doubt they would build more of them because the budget buyer is looking more at the low 20's then the high 20's. Someone should look this up!!!
