What HID kit to buy for CS Fogs?

Those who have added an HID kit to the CS fogs what did you buy? I have the factory HID headlights and I would like them to match as close as possible so I was looking at going with the H11 kit 35W and 5K. I pulled the bulb however and the bulb says 55W on them . . . my thought was the 55W HID would be too much for the small housing but if the stock bulbs are fine then I don't think I'd have a problem? I read the 55W is more white so I would probably do 6K in that kit but I'm still up in the air. I like the idea of a 55W kit since they say it's about 40% more light than the 35W.

Thoughts/comments/experience needed and appreciated . . . thanks!

I have no idea but have also been looking to do the same thing. I think the car looks dumb with the fogs on and the HID headlights therefore I never turn on the fogs. I am interested to see the result of this thread.
Unfortunately I can't help as your above post is already over my head as far as knowledge of lights.

Anyone have an HID kit in their CS fogs? Real question is can I run a 55w kit in the factory housing with the factory wiring safely and has anyone done it?

Got this from HID GUY on this site . I think they are a sponsor!

The HID Kit that goes into the 2011 CS fog lights are H11 Bulbs and yes we carry the H11 Hid Kit . The Best way to make them match would be to choose the 4,3k OEM White HID Kit to match your stock headlights. But please keep in mind that this will only fit the California Special Fog lights they will not fit the Regular GT fog lights that are in the Upper Grille. This Kit is an H10 HID kit. Yes we have these in stock as well.

Keep in mind that you can also change the color of your Stock Headlights Bulbs. As these are D3S's and you would just need to change the bulbs.

H11 and a 35w 4300K kit should match the color of the factory lights.
A 55 watt would get to hot in the fog light housing, the 55 watt HID VS the halogen 55 watt bulb are 2 different animals.

I ordered a 35W 5000K HID kit and installed it last week. It has more blue than I expected and doesn't match (maybe they gave me the wrong temp?) but it does look a lot better than before. I may end up trying a different color but the 35W was the right option.

The 5000 k HID's are a little bluer than the 4300 that came in the stock HID headlights.

Thanks, I understand that. I was getting at it's much more of a difference than I expected. It looks like either a 6K or even an 8K kit based on how blue it is. I plan to let them burn in and see if it changes.
