Thanks Burton.

There's a chance I might've gotten sideways a bit at some point today

I'm still deciding if I should replace it. It's minor and most people would say I'm crazy since its in the engine bay but I don't care. It bugs me.

I sprayed the engine with a Stop the Rodent spray. Does a good job and it it works it'll be something I continue to use.
Good thing you got rid of those d--- critters!!

Yeah thanks. I checked under the hood this morning and no visitors. I think my two little friends bit the dust.

You can always pull it off if you want to, pretty easy to do and it makes the engine bay look much better IMO.

Good luck with the strut tower brace, hopefully the little scratches will come out!

One of my options but a dumb question coming up. Will Ford give me a hard time on a warranty issue if I pull the insulation out?

Thanks. If I can't get the scratches out I will paint it. I've seen some painted and I think it looks pretty cool. I just don't know how to remove the GT badge.

Drilling out the rivets is the only way I can see to remove the GT badge.

I doubt it. It is really there for some heat insulation and NVH from what I can recall. Mostly NVH though.

Can't you just tape over the GT emblem and then paint it?

I could but I know that I'd get a cleaner job if I can remove it first.

Here's another question. What color should I paint it? Not sure if I'd go black or Sterling to match the car.

got 1 wheel cleaned, polished and sealed today. 3 more to go. So much easier to do when they are not on the car

Dropped off the Mustang yesterday for ongoing transmission, engine tick, and a door rattle issue. Wake up this morning and there is snow and salt everywhere. Poor car, I'm sure they're going to be driving it today lol
