All Seasons = No Season. Get summer performance tires and switch to winter tires if you need to. All seasons are a terrible compromise

Not for the Wifey. It's her car, and she's not going to be racing anyone.

I think he just meant (and I agree) that for winter, nothing substitutes a good winter tire, especially on a rwd vehicle. The fact that it's for your wife, should make it more important to get specific winter tires for her. Safety. Don't compromise

I agree Z, I'm sorry if I come off a bit flippant. That wasn't my intention I'll assure you. What I should have said is, living in the south we aren't greatly concerned with snow. Usually if it snows it's gone within a few hours, and the longest time is a day. Rain is the thing, and the reviews on this tire for wet traction are at the top. The A/S tires are really the best for our area.

Lol, only time your stang is sliding around is when you're pushing the peddle to the floor.

Same here.
50's today and tomorrow, but salt/sand on the edge of the roadways and snow melting. No good for me either Burton.

It's only February! Hopefully in another month we'll be able to get them on the road.

Taking advantage of 60 degree weather. It's amazing how much dust and smudges can find their way under a car cover in a garage. Oh the joys of a black car.

There is still a little bit of salt dust on the roads, but I don't care! Got the car out today in the 60+ degree weather and did a few WOT runs to the gym I'll was the underbody real good after it rains, just in case. In all reality, it's the yearly salt exposure that rusts out a car, not from just one time

That's the spirit!!!! Salt dust doesn't bother me as long as the roads aren't wet. Most of the snow is gone here, and there's very little salt left after the rains the other day. Had mine out for short jaunts 4 days in a row now.....top will be going down soon I hope.

When it snows here it's an event. Everything closes, and we go out to play. I tell my Northern transplant friends that it's not that we can't drive in snow, it's that we have better sense than to try.

What did you do to your '10-'14 today?

Got mine re tinted today. New York is a pain with tint so I had to go really light on it. Now that I'm out of there I went dark without having problems with outward visibility. So much happier with how it looks now. Plus the shop does a lifetime warranty for any issues like fading, cracking, bubbling, rub marks from the windows going down ect.
No pics though since I got home after the sun set today.
It so simple but makes the car so much more than it was before.

Same with MA. Pretty strict with tint and very strict with emissions.
