Tomorrow is supposed to be a good day as well. Take another cruise with the windows down and turn up the heat a little. That may help. Also, throw some fabric softener sheets in the engine bay. Obviously, tonight into tomorrow and just be sure to remove them before driving.

Finished buffing the left side over the weekend. It rained all weekend so I couldn't drive her anyways. Will finish the right side soon.
Changed her oil. She now has NEW 5W20 amsoil coursing through her veins again.
Also ordered and received 6 - 12 oz bottles of DOT3 Amsoil brake fluid and 3 qts of 75W140 differential oil. Gonna change her fluids soon. Anyone have a DiY for differential oil??? (0W20 oil was for Quincy)

I see. Just seems a bit excessive to me, considering rear differentials have been spinning for hundreds of thousands of miles in the past 50 years, all without any mandatory 10k mile flush. If you strive for that utter perfection, I guess go for it...

Why does it have you thinking so much? You just get a bottle and add it into the gear oil. You need it for limited slip differentials because it allows for smooth engagement and disengagement of the clutches. Some gear oil says that they have friction modifiers in it and there are plenty of discussion about still adding it or not, so thats why I just use OEM fluids and recomendations.

After changing my ring and pinion I changed @ 500mi, 1500mi, then again at 3500mi (gear set miles) Even though I'm running 4.10's the rear is quieter than it ever was from the factory/day 1.
edit: When I put the 4.10's in, I also upgraded to the Ford Racing Carbon Fiber clutch pack. DO NOT use synthetic with it, that requires a revert back to 80-90W dino oil. Syn is "too" slippery, does not allow the carbon discs to work properly.

That being said, I might just still have my trusted shop do the change of that particular fluid. He'll charge me like 40 bucks including tax to do it. That beats 1 to 2 hours of my time. I just give him the fluid.
Most diffs don't have a 400+hp, 7k+ rpm motor connected to them. My fluid was low from the factory, and looked miserable when I first changed it ~20k mi.
