Sure is...rare on a Mustang, even more rare on a Boss I would think. The car was drop dead gorgeous.

Late last October I attended a NE Regional SAAC show in Macungie that was open to all Mustangs (and Fords). Mustangs, Shelbys, Bosses, Mach 1's galore...all years, and each generation and variant had it's own class. It was peer judging only and I snagged a 2nd Place in my class. I didn't decide to go until the last minute due to weather concerns. I should have PM'd you.... my apologies. Not sure if the SAAC is doing it again this year. I'll try to find out and let you know.

On April 24th my Mustang club is doing an all-Ford show at a dealer in Sussex County in the same general area as the Chatterbox which I think you said you're familiar with. I realize that's a major haul for you, but I'll throw it out at you anyway. It is an inaugural event so I can't make a prediction on turnout.

This was my fav Gen5 Boss at the Shelby show....
I know we definitely have to make this happen. I'm marking the 24th on my calendar!

I gave winter the middle finger and took a spin. I have the car parked airing out stinky rat smells from the engine. Tomorrow an an engine detailing session.

That's awesome. The roads are actually clear of snow and wet. The snow is all gone in these neighborhoods. Just some sand on the edges of the road.

Took my new rear spring perches apart and installed them the right way, while also adjusting them up a tiny bit more, so the right rear measurement from the ground to the top of the wheel opening is 29", left rear almost a half inch more, but the driver side has always been higher ... I'll adjust it down in a few more days, bring it down a 1/4" or so.

Then, drove it!
Took it out to lunch with the girlfriend, then a nice little half-hour drive the long way home.
No rubbing!

The Steeda aluminum Ds is in. When the exhaust pipe were removed, the installation was very easy. I just wish my new DS was a little lighter.
The car feels more responsive and OI love the fact that the clunky sounds when shifting gears have disappeared by about 70-80 percent.
I also like to mention that Steeda customer care is top notch. When I ran to small confusion during the install, TJ sent me a PM quickly to help out.

I installed some engine bling, from Emblem Pros. The "Powered by Ford" on the coil covers. The "32V Tivct", and a nice "coyote" emblem on the engine cover. It looks more complete now.

That looks great!

The coil cover inserts ... on their site they say that the inserts will be raised, they seem to be slightly raised, are they really?
Any chance you can get some nice close-ups of the covers, maybe from above and also at an angle to see if they are raised and how much?

I've been looking to get the EmblemPros kit for years, but still can't get some really good pics of just how well they fit

Gabe, the coil cover lettering is almost flush, where it should be. Maybe slightly above the cover, but hardly noticeable. The 32 tivct on the front seems to be raised slightly more however. I will get some closer shots for you.

That is something I will DEFINITELY consider getting if it reduces that clunk sound while shifting. Makes the car sound like an old piece of junk. Any vibrations at high speed?

My first round of engine detailing since Ratageddon. I noticed that the strut brace has little scratches from my little friends. I'm hoping I can buff them out. If you look closely you can see where the little buggers were chewing up my firewall insulation.

I'm still deciding if I should replace it. It's minor and most people would say I'm crazy since its in the engine bay but I don't care. It bugs me.

I sprayed the engine with a Stop the Rodent spray. Does a good job and it it works it'll be something I continue to use.

Took it through a quick touchless wash and drove it to a Mustang club meeting.
It was one of only 2 Mustangs there, so these pics are from the drive home

I just bought a spare set of covers, stock gray ones, I'm gonna smooth them and I hope to hydro dip them, but if that doesn't happen I'll paint them and just do these letters ...

Lol, it's photo-chopped on there, covering up a company sign that I didn't want to advertise
