For now just a couple layers of tape for a snug fit. Will probably get the Roush vent pod, or I've heard UPR is making a mount for the ngauge. May see what they come up with.

What did I do with my mustang today? I drove it to work and then to the tuner. Just rolled 17,000 miles on the clock. Love every minute of it.

Did nothing with the green machine in over a week. Between working late some days this week and working out in the yard today,.....no time. I did check it out big time though when I went into the garage to get some tools and throw the trash away earlier.
I think I should sell it. lol
Anyone want to buy a very well kept, super low mileage, gorgeous looking GHIG '13 Roush Stage 3??!

I would Tony, but it's got too many miles for my taste.

Took it to the last cruise night of the season for the NH Mustang Club.

Sad the season's over, it was fun while it lasted, for sure.

Got it appraised at CarMax and a couple dealers. CarMax low balled me at $22k. Another Ford dealer offered $27k at trade in and $24.5k just to buy outright. A Honda dealer, where I was looking at a used vehicle, declined to give me an offer because they couldn't sell it without the airbag being replaced.

Baby number 2 is due in March, and I'm on the brink of selling her because two babies back there is just going to be a chore I don't want to deal with (coupled with my crappy new commute and aging 2005 Escape).

I'm so close to being done with the P-51 thing too. really depressed lately.

I suggest you back off the shopping/trading-in strategy and focus on other things. Put it out of your mind for a while, including modding. Doesn't sound like you're in the right frame of mind to make rational decisions about your car so take some time to enjoy other stuff.

Relax.

I agree with the post above. From what I've read, you have a real passion for your car. I think you might regret giving it up. You still have several months till you have to make a choice. If one of your car seats can be switched to forward facing( i believe it's one year old and 40 pounds) and only one is rear facing, they will fit if your wife isn't very tall. My buddy that has a boss drives his car with the seats configured like this. It may be trying now but our passions/hobbies are the very things we need to hold onto when times are tough. They can help provide a small reprieve from the things that bring us down.

I'm not making a decision just yet, but yes I would regret it. I know that. I did need to go through the motions though and see what it was like. And yeah, it didn't feel good.

Yeah,...that's a tough call.
Definitely will be a chore. If you can get that 27k for trade-in at a local Ford dealership, I say take it before the winter comes. Just my 2 cents as it sounds like you made your mind up already. I don't want to see you get rid of the Mustang at all and hopefully you don't have to.
Good luck Patrick with whatever way you decide.

Sold my 68 GTO in 1992 when I had my second child. It took me 22 years until I was able to come back and get that 12 Mustang. Do what you have to do, but hold it if you can.
