Love your car Stage 3. I've learned to appreciate well polished GHIG's, we don't see many in my area. I bet she looks awesome rolling down the road!

Despite my recent back problems, I couldn't stay put on a beautiful day like today. I was only able to do a surface detailing and a light vacuuming without pain (and nowhere near my self-imposed cleaning standards) and attended a cruise tonight. There are a bunch of shows coming up where judging is based on cleanliness and detailing, and I'm not physically up to that task. I'm not a trophy ***** and don't attend shows to win hardware, but to make the car show ready anyway is a matter of pride. By my standards, the Mustang is a disgrace.

I'm entering my car in its first official show, and my first show for any car I've owned. Tomorrow is Hot Summer Nights in Danville, in which they're doing a special tribute to the GTO and Mustangs. Usually only older cars are welcome, but for these events all years are welcome. Not really expecting anything, as most of the guys that judge these events usually lean towards the old muscle, but it'll be fun to have it in the show none the less!

Hmm didn't give those things a thought. I never see the other cars in the shows having those items! I don't plan on popping the hood, with my all stock engine bay lol

I ordered the chrome cup holder cover and e-brake handle cover from AM. I took them to my vinyl angel at the sign shop, and she dropped the GT logo on the cup holder cover and gave me some blue accent on the e-brake cover. Love that girl. Here is a before, and two afters.

What did you do to your '10-'14 today?

What an awesome day and extremely humbling experience! So this show wasn't actually judged, so no awards. BUT, I have to say, it was a little weird to be posted up behind my car and have kids and all kinds of people ogle and drool over it, take pics in front of it etc hahaha.

This was the first "show" I actually entered my car in, and it will not be my last. Made some new friends and took my 10yo godson with me to the actual staging area. Safe to say, he's always gonna be a Mustang fan! I'll post some pics tomorrow. Been a long day...I was up at 5!

Glad to hear you had a good time Patrick. Shows can be a real blast, judged or not. My prep, in addition to an **** retentive noon-and-cranny detailing, is stocking my cooler full of ice and bottled water, making sure I have my camera, fresh last-minute detailing supplies, extra cash, and plenty of smokes. It pays to get there extra early in order to snag a shady spot.

Convertibles are always a spectator magnet, and I have no problem allowing kids (or anyone) sitting behind my wheel for a photo op.

Post some pics of your day.

Patrick, Humbling is a great word regarding the show experience. It is amazing to see your car make smiles.
Darren, im sure your Mod is perfect and you did not leave any skin hanging on the bumper. I thought your car was on the beach with a blanket at first.
Tom, get better dude. Dont rush it.
Im out to PA. Gonna take some good VA Moonshine and chase some Amish girls tonight. Mustangs tomorrow.
