Wet feet, passengers side...

Not sure if this is old news to most of you, but if your passengers feet are wet, check your passengers side cowl drain hole by the cabin air filter.

Couple weeks ago my blower motor stopped working so a quick trip to the dealer took care of that, since I'm still under warranty. After a few rainy days this week my son gets in to go to practice yesterday and tells me the floor is wet. My first thought was a massive leak or they screwed something up at the dealership. But, after a few deep breaths and a little searching online, I solve the problem with a coat hanger today

Apparently the drain hole by the cabin filter gets clogged with debris so water fills the cowl area with nowhere to go. Once there's enough water to reach the filter opening, it starts pouring into your mustang. Used a bent up wire coat hanger to clear the opening and the pool of water disappeared in no time.

Just a little FYI in case anyone else is chasing a leak.

I'll definitely snap some pic tomorrow and post them. Looks like this will be a regular check for me since it's my daily driver and sits outside.
