Today was our build day, and just received this email from our dealer late this afternoon:
"Your Mustang was released from plant today and sent to transport, eta is still 5/11. Current order status is 'Received- rail (auto warehousing)'".

Awesome indeed! Build date is still tomorrow for me, and dealer said he will email me once it updates. Delivery is still 7 May 2011. Already ordered the Roush exhaust and the Barton shifter kit. All is on track so far!! Should be a good week!

Some sweet cars I’m seeing here, congratulations to all and enjoy! Well in my previous post a week ago I got my VIN, but my Window Sticker still hasn’t show up online yet, WTF! I called Customer Service last Wednesday and they said build week of 5/2 and build date of 5/2. I’m taking that with a grain of salt. I’m getting tired of waiting and no news.

Great news! My salesman called and said my car is at the dealership! I am picking it up after work tonight. It took six weeks and one day from order to delivery.

Should be this week I hope, as I was worried at first as well. I guessed based on my situation that when they say week of, the build could be any day that week till Friday I suppose. So when I didnt see my sticker last Monday I was worried a bit, but it showed up 1 week prior to the actual build date on the sticker. Not sure how consistent that is. But no worries yet.

Just got my window sticker today! 
Build week is May 3rd! Can't believe the wait is almost over. I ordered March 30th, got VIN on April 14th...but have been saving money since last July!
Mine's a Pony Package auto, Red Candy, saddle leather, interior upgrade, nav system, remote start, rear camera.
It's gonna be sweet.
