So you plan on installing an aftermarket spoiler? If so, wouldn't you be better off getting the factory spoiler and carefully removing it? That way, the holes are there and in exactly the right spot.

I think this may have been a happy accident!

 

Well I don't want a spoiler. The only reason I would add the 500 spoiler is bc I don't wanna wait another 8 weeks. It is kinda getting played out. I like it but I want something a little different. Seems like everyone is doing the CS front and 500 spoiler combo thats all.

I just think the stock spoiler is to tiny. Don't care for the CS spoiler and didn't order the backup cam. I like the back up cam spoiler but don't need the camera. Would be nice but oh well.

 

Its at the dealer. Picking it up Wednesday. WOOHOO!

ETA is this week,,am hoping this nightmare wait is almost over!

 

Dealer finally contacted me and said that the delivery is TOMORROW!!!

 

Window sticker popped up this morning. What a jolt of excitement. It will be built next Tuesday.

Good luck travel! Dont get too excited. Mine was supposed to come Saturday and it still hasn't arrived.

Talked to FCS today, and they are still showing an ETA of 4/30 which has clearly come and gone already. For all they know, it hasn't left the plant yet.

Trying to wait patiently, but the order tracking system Ford uses is complete crap in my opinion.

 

Hmmmm, this sounds like loads of good news to me!

Well just an update the dealer is gonna remove the stock spoiler when the car gets here and fill in the holes and repaint the trunk. Hope all goes well.

Sales manager phoned me yesterday and told me that my car was on the train and that he would send me the tracking info ASAP by email, hope he comes through

I picked her up on Saturday and have not been able to pry myself out from behind the wheel! I know others have said the same thing, but it is most definitely worth the wait! I was totally frustrated, after 12 weeks I was ready to cancel and even had some words with the dealer. All I can say is hang in there, you will not be disappointed! I finally got to taking some pics. New wheels and SVT exhaust installed same day. couldn't get pics to upload so here's a photo bucket link if anyone is interested

Well Ford's latest posting for my delivery is four days ahead of my last talking with them:
In Transit Received - Rail (Auto Warehousing ) Ramp 51, Auto Alliance, MI Apr-27-2011, 09:00 ET.

ETA May-11-2011.

Not too bad. My dealer stated that he usually gets the incoming on time, since they have a larger dealership with high volume. We shall see.

 

Car was delivered and picked up today!!!! It is amazing!!!! Dealer had been a little slow to communicate at times in the long wait, but they had the paperwork and loan approval waiting for me when I walked in. The keys were there and literally everything was ready when I stepped in the door. Everything went really well. The car was under a sun shade, cleaned and waiting for me. After the experience of walking in and having everything literally just ready for me to sign and inspect with absolutely no wait, I think that I will definately buy my next ford at this place. No city sales tax is a big plus, too.
