Whew, that's a long wait. My wait is just now over 2 months. So, you don't have a VIN yet? What did you order?

 

No VIN. I have a Boss 302 on order.

I havent called the fleet number yet, since the car isnt set to build until 25 April 2011, but ill let you know if it really allows me to find out.

My window sticker showed up for the first time today. I ordered on Feb 1 and the build date is Apr 26. I hope to have it by mid-May.

About how long after you guys orders were sent to plant for production did it take for your window sticker to show up?

@Going for broke. Took me about 11 days after order for it to get sent to plant and be assigned build date and VIN. Some have taken months, not necessarily consistent, but it appears a handful have been picking up fast now.

 

Hello everyone! I'm a new member here.
I put down a deposit on 4-12 for a GT/CS Premium Coupe.
Black Int., Black Ext., HID w/Security, Comfort Pkg., Electronics Pkg., 3.73, Glass Roof, & a Manual Transmission. I was tempted to go automatic but it just felt wrong. So very very wrong. Those that go that route though...enjoy!
I will keep you all updated as I hear more.

 

@2012-Black-GT/CS. Indeed that same car you ordered, is what I ordered except im getting it in Ingot Silver, and decided against the comfort package. It should indeed be a sweet car. I used to have an 01 GT that I got rid of when I joined the military. Of course I agree, I indeed could never drive this car in automatic. My wife is not all too happy about my adding a ton of additions to the car pretty much the second day I own it.

 

From the time I ordered until I received a vin was approx 10 weeks. Once I got a vin it was 7 days later that the window sticker showed up. In my case it showed up 10 days before the build date.

 

I've been following you Vito and you have waited a long time. We've all waited to darn long. Your time will come soon and I expect pics of your first smokey burnout.

@ Extremis302. Congratulations on you order. When I went in to place mine I was dead-set on the color black, but after seeing their silver gt/cs out front I was seriously beginning to reconsider. The way the spokes of the wheels compliment the ingot silver is awesome. Also, the front and rear fascia match the side stripe and wheel inside black perfectly. Pictures don't do it justice, in person the colors really POP! I will be watching your order progress carefully since yours was placed so closely to my own. Take care.

 

Ive seen my car in the flesh..unfortunately the dealers trade in price for my jetta was so freakin low ive got two weeks to see if I can sell it for a greater amount. Im talkin 4 to 5 grand lower that what I see comparable to autotrader, and a good 1500 less than kbb trade in value... Ugh. On a more positive note, seeing my lava red mca next to a candy red gt premium and silver gt500, I think that from the front it looks a bit sleeker and more edgy. I dont know what it is but the foglights on the gt grille just dont do it for me. Any gt owners think of switching up their grille for same reason?
