[quote=Stang-Par;6056098]Well, it's here! They'll PDI it tomorrow and as per my instructions they will not install the plate bracket, leave all the plastics on the seats, and not wash it.
Stang-Par, what was your ETA date? Mine is today, and I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Allocations are dealer specific but if they have sold units they can typically get allocations from their district manager by trading/transferring from other dealers who have allocations in the area. I spoke with a couple dealers in my region and all said the same thing, no Mustang allocations.
If anyone has heard different and are in the Pittsburg region please let me know. I am OK with the wait and fully trust the sales manager I am dealing with.

that makes no sense to me extremis i ordered from northport in feb. got nothing. wasn't til i threatened to cancel on 4/3 did the sales mgr confess and say it'll be another 2-3 months. so we cancelled and went to lucas for a 2011.
who did you speak to?
mine wasn't a complicated order... a blue premium v6 with floor mats.

This no allocation does indeed sound odd to me. Had my parents call a dealer in Northport, LI and he said he could order 2012's and had not heard of any delays. Indeed it is odd and a shame all these folks who ordered well before me havent heard anything. I wonder why. It took all of about 2 weeks from order to get my VIN and then the window sticker. Many folks that ordered late March to early April all seem to be getting built next week. I really cant figure this out. Good luck to all of you still waiting for a VIN, hopefully you will hear something soon.

My work knows we have a car on order and would be totally cool with me running over to the dealer at a moment's notice.

Yesterday i emailed the sales manager i went through to order my car. (Ordered on 02-14-11.) Of course, he's off on wednesdays... I let him know of how unsatisfied i was. Especially, when i see people ordering theirs in late march and early april already getting Build Dates and such. He actually called me today shortly after he started work. He seems very optomistic that i will see a VIN by tomorrow or next friday. I sure hope so. I'm getting very tired of playing the waiting game!!! I should already be driving it.. Enjoying this holiday weekend showing it off. Just had to vent... But i am very happy that some of us here are getting their babies...

Dealer just called and said that they got he sales invoice today, so he thinks that the car will be here tomorrow. Car was built on Monday (4/18). Its on the truck coming to the Louisville area.
Went with the 2.9% rate for 36mths so I could use both the 500 incentive and the 750 from the brochure. Using the 1.9% you lose the 500 incentive.

When I paid my deposit and received a paper copy of my 'VEHICLE ORDER CONFIRMATION' details I later noticed that it says PRIORITY 55. Anyone know what this means? Just curious what kind of number scales dealers use internally.
