Hey 2012GrabbGT, I see your ride made it out of Area 51, very cool. At least it didn't stay there for weeks like mine did. I see we have pretty much the same ETA. Mine was bumped to 6/4. I doubt I'll see it this Saturday, though.

Mine was built the 20th, and was "Awaiting Shipment...Released as of the 29th and the ETA was today!! Sent Deysha a PM last night to see if that had changed but haven't heard back yet. Dealer isn't much help in the information department except to say that "the ETA is 05/31/2011". Not real sanguine about it after reading all the comments about missed ETA's on this and other forums. Ford should be able to do better.

 

Do you know something I don't? Lol. Last I heard (5/24) is that it was at Ramp 51 with an ETA of 6/5. Called CRC this morning and all the lady could tell me was the ETA is 6/12 and that she had nothing else for me. Ugh, frustrating. Got that sick feeling just hearing that news. And I don't even know if it's at Ramp 51 still or not. Sent my dealer an email to get a VVR snapshot but haven't heard from him yet. I'm hoping Deysha can give me some better news. So far, spring and half of my summer have been messed up. The wait is at 15 1/2 weeks today. Not very pleased about that.

 

Ooops, Sorry 2012GrabbGT! I misunderstood "Released from plant/Ramp51: 05/22/11" in your signature. I thought is was released from area51 too. My head is still a little foggy from Memorial Day Party forgive me. Well I hope it gets out soon.

Well my dealer just called. My car is someplace in Ohio now, sweet! Its on the move. Train keep a rollin' all night long! I just may see it by the weekend or early next week.

 

My car arrived today!!! ETA was tomorrow 6/1. Thanks to Deysha for all the info and shedding some light on this entire process. Build date was 5/21. I'm in Indiana. Ordered 3/7. For some reason my sig isn't posting all that at the bottom, even though I changed it in my settings. I only use my iPhone for this. Can I post pics with my phone?

 

My car should be here tom!! I can't wait. Congrats to everyone who has received theirs. The dealer will call around lunch time. I will post pics tom nite. I will not be able to take delivery until next week bc my my parents just went out of town. So close.

 

Nothing against those that are getting their Mustangs right now (directed at Ford). This really pisses me of to see others that ordered well after me get theirs before me. And to be told my ETA is now a week later. I know others can relate. I want mine NOW!

 

Nope, I have no info whatsoever on my order which was placed on 3/20. I think its insane to pay so much money and not even be informed as to about when its might be ready. Not so much because I can't wait, but because I'd like to know when to start selling my 08 GT. I can only give you my name and dealer. I don't even have an order number.

 

There appears to more than the normal complement of good news stories among tody's posts. Mark it down, May 31st is a good news day.

Please allow me to add to the burgeoning array of good news stories. My dealer called to inform me that a truck had arrived with my Mustang on it. He thought it was a black car until he got closer and the red just came shining through. Pictures will be posted no later than Sunday.

Just picked up my car today at 1:00 PM.

 

I have had the cat for a fee weeks now and put 1100 miles on her. I love it mote each time I drive it! My dark stainless grill is in and it for a on next Mon. I will also have them fix the rear blackout panel that I put on slightly uneven (my own dumb fault) that 2 sided tape is not forgiving. I will then add pics of the car the way I wanted it. Love the Roush axlebacks, sound great. Good luck to those waiting. It's well worth it!

 

Still waiting here but congrats to all of those that have received either their car or the news it's at dealer or on way. I'm hoping mine shows this week.
