v6 premium wheels?

These don't look like the wheels that I saw on Ford's website as the standard wheels, also I've never seen them here on the forums. Any idea why they are different? Hopefully the pictures are big enough.

They were "late availability." There are a few other guys on here with them - just have to look around a little more!

Look like the ones in the 2013 brochure I have, for the V6 Premium.

Ahh...thanks. Ford hasn't changed it on their site. While they're nothing special I am glad I got these over the original. Either way, hopefully they'll only be my fall/winter set.

I've got to do some closer looking. I like those, from what I can tell from those pics.

I picked up mine from Roush as take-offs and think they look a ton better than the old premium 17". The pictures really do not do them justice. Originally I was going to go with bigger wheels but, I do 70 miles a day just going to work so staying stock size will keep the cost of ownership and they just look great on a Sterling Grey car

Yup, Ford did something nice from us V6 Owners This is actually not a new design but a modification to an old wheel. The '10 and above had the option for this wheel but only as an 18" silver painted version. This is now a 17" wheels, machined finish with Sterling Grey painted pocket areas. The centers of the spokes have also been machined out instead of just being depressions in the spokes which likely made them even lighter. Say what you will but, these are some really good looking stock wheels

I really like the wheels. They look great with the gray painted inserts. Now that you have shown the picture of the black car on the left i recall that they were included in the 2012 Mustang customizer but in chrome and i just assumed it was a concept wheel that i never seen materialize. Anyway, i have never seen a new car on the lots or out on the streets with this style wheel.

It baffles me that the dealers keep swapping these wheels off of the V6's when they are so nice! Most of the dealers where i live only bring in the V6s with the MCA pack or the 18"s. I am not a fan of the normal 5 spoke, just personal preference, so cutting out that middle bit on each spoke does a lot for me in terms of style. But these are the new stock 17"s. Nice enough that I am keeping them as my normal wheels and rocking some simple rims that i picked up for the winter.

When I was preparing to order my car using the Ford website to build it, the rims were the only disappointment I had but I figured I could live with it... Then when the car arrived it was the biggest surprise when I saw the rims and that they were not the ones on Ford's website. They're beautiful and had me smiling the whole time. I couldn't be happier

There's a brand new set on the bay: sensors and all for 6 bills and free shipping. Awesome deal IMO. (Roush take offs)

It would seem Ford is pushing the MCA and Pony Packages this year more than ever, and at more profit for Ford. Don't get me wrong, I especially like the MCA but, these wheels on a Premium car are very easy on the eyes. I think showing them V6 buyers may get distracted as the MCA wheels do not look as good to me even though they are 18". Yes, these ARE a steal for $600 on ebay from Roush
