V6 PP manual only correct?

Just wanting to verify this, edmunds does not exclude the auto as an option with the performance package, but I am pretty sure that is incorrect. Can someone verify for me?

On cars.com if you try to add the auto tranny it makes you remove the performance package. Did you actually try to spec the auto with the perf. pack on edmunds and see if it will let both options be added?

I think it is just edmunds sucks, you can technically price it out with it, they usually justnote what to check or what is required for a package (and you have to check it yourself, even option package discounts have to be checked manually).

Has anyone ordered one yet? i am still debating, get it now and enjoy the extra fuel mailage or wait for who knows long and get a base GT.

I want one of each, a V6 performance package for the everyday driver/autocross car and a automatic GT to drag race.

I order one (still waiting for my VIN after 3 weeks ). I'm pretty sure is only available with manual transmission.

Probably no VIN until they are ready to gear up production and that isn't until the 16th. I think that was what I read that Job 2 was starting.

I really love the Mustang and the Challenger, so I figure get the Mustang now and in a few years find a used 10 Challenger R/T with the Super Track Pakc to compliment it

Yes dealer confirmed manual only at this time and I would imagine due to the nature of the package it will stay that way
I just finalized my order today black/stone performance package only option ordered going to use an x plan pin after negotiating i'm getting it thanks to the $1000 current rebates&$750 private cash for just over $2300 more than I owe on the ingot/charcoal 2011 I have. I think that's a great deal imo for a car that has 3.31 gears, better suspension, upgraded braking system, re tuned track control etc. I also happen to think that the performance package equipped cars will hold their resale even better than non equipped 3.7s.
I also confirmed with my dealer that they do not plan to order any base model cars with this package and only a few premiums with it as they feel the stiffer suspension and other things may not sell as well as cars equipped with the pony or mca packs
On that note I still think its a shame you can't get a 2011 base with the mca package I love the parts you get with the mca. Also speaking of parts you can order the gt500 acc diffuser and things like the mca package grill in dark stainless or chrome through your dealer. Although they couldn't confirm that the parts would be installed at the factory or added at the point of delivery?

3.73-11,

You ordering it black now? I thought you were going with sterling grey and join the club.

The GT500 diffuser and MCA grill are dealer installed options as far I know unless is part of a package. I'm planning on doing the GT500 myself.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but why not offer the PP on an auto 6 or the Brembo package for the an auto GT?

Those are track oriented packages and the auto trans isn't supposedly.

Hmm, I thought there was only 500 cash back right now. Cool, also I just ordered a brochure, does anyone know if they are still sending the coupons out with them?

Well msrp w/destination/fdaf&fuel would have been $25,523.16, getting everything at dealer invoice+holdback+fdaf+fuel=$24396. I talked them into knocking off the fdaf so its $23910 before the $1850 in rebates that I have&are currently available. Not to bad for a mid-high 13 sec .95g on the skidpad 0-60 in 5 sec flat 60-0 in 104 or less feet while still getting nearly 30mpg highway factory stock production car imo anyway
By the time I get it i'm looking at being out the door for right at $18,000 based on me making two more payments on my current car and that is without the x plan pin so with it I should save another $425 according to them they said they wouldn't be able to show the true x plan numbers until I obtained my pin and they entered it into the vincent system*I just joined MCA yesterday after finalizing my order so I won't be eligible for the pin for 29 more days which is ok since the car probably won't even be built until then. Boy oh boy waiting is going to kill me
Oh yeah did I mention I can keep any&all parts I want from my current stang except the wheels also they are going to tint the windows in the deal swap my tailights&3'rd brake light and swap my lowering springs adj phb for me to

Thanks for the info. I have X-plan. I will have to wait to drive one first. My dealer ordered 2 and I assume that they should arrive in Sept. Also I like the Black or Dark Grey color choices.Any dealers on here in So-Cal have any other pricing info? Also I did not see the PP info on the Ford Vehicles.com website.
