Sync Not "Hearing" Me and This is Why... UGH.

My first thought was, "It's a woman... what do you expect?"
But yeah, if the mic is in the mirror, you're kind of screwed. And although I don't have a good answer, it does make me feel pretty good about my factory installed $345 rear-view camera.
Sorry for your troubles.

Okay guys, I need some help here: I have a 2010 Mustang V6 Premium convertible that I got not that long ago and my sync system was hearing my voice. Recently, it has not been hearing me. I have no navigation screen installed, just basic sync.
Well, it just dawned on me why it may not be hearing me anymore, and it has me concerned at what my options now are.
With my convertible top up, I wasn't happy with the blind spots and with the smaller back window, so I had a body shop install a reverse camera, and they installed a mirror with it. I got the BOYO camera and Mito dimming rearview mirror.
I just found out that the microphone was probably on the factory installed mirror (is that correct?) and that's why (I'm guessing) my voice isn't being heard.
Now, just spoke with the people, and they want the specs/diagram on the rear-view mirror harness that came from the factory, so they can install a mike(s) with this Mito mirror.
Anyone know where I can get these specs?????
Ugh!
Lesson learned.
I had hoped that Ford would have a solution: why can't the mike from the original mirror be used in this one?
Ugh, what options do I have?
Thank you so much---

Why the links to www.allfordmustangs.com?
Don't mind helping anyone out with issues but why solicit for another site.

Posted there and cut-and-paste here which took the "highlights" from AFM and put them here.
