Sync Issues
everyonce in a while, my sync wont work at all, i cannot connect to USB, voice button doesnt work, phone is unable to connect,
i usually when this happens have to turn the car off and open the door and wait till the clock goes out on the radio before restarting, sometimes i do this multiple times
anyone else have this issue?

I've had it happen with my phone a few times. I usually turn off my phone's Bluetooth and then turn it back on. That has usually fixed the issue and since it doesn't seem to happen all the time it isn't a big deal.

We've had a lot of problems in the Taurus with one of the phones (but not the other)... and lately it's been going to 'radio' when I start it after shutting it off with SYNC/USB playing. Also it'll occasionally just quit responding like what the OP said. I can't remember the Mustang SYNC ever doing anything weird.

I have been experiencing problems with the phone. The system seems to drop it and then tells me no phone is paired. Drove me nuts this week, as it would not come back on line as it has in the past. This time I pulled the phone battery, and it sync'd again. I am not sure what is going on. Everything else seems to be working, including the USB which I use for music.
Have you logged into MYSYNC? They have a several forums, including a technical one, which may be more help them we are.

Same thing happens here. Maybe once out of every 10 times it doesnt connect when I get in my car and start it up. I just turn off my phone's BT and turn it on and then it works again.

Yes ... it has happened to me several times. Including just recently when I had my oil changed at the dealership. After a while it starts working ... like SYNC has crashed and eventually reboots or something.
I think once SCOSCHE comes out with there 2010+ Mustang install bezel ... I ditching SYNC and going with a nice Kenwood in-Dash Nav system ...

Twice I have Sync not work for me. Press the voice button and nothing happens. I had to turn the car off and open the door, then start up again and it worked. In both cases I had hit the Sync button soon after starting the car. Perhaps the Sync computer needs to have 30 seconds to boot up and if you try using it before it's ready, it stops it from booting up properly?

Mine is acting up too. I also have a storm phone. I go into bluetooth and connect to sync and it connects for a second then disconnects. It just started recently. I pulled the battery on the phone and turned the car off and then back on and no go.

I have the Iphone once it would not pair up. Most of my issues is having the system recognise PHONE when i want to make a call. For some reason it jumps to sirius radio. I did do the Voice profile but it still does this occasionally.
