I am not sure what sales are coming up ... but I know the SC won't be part of it. We usually only have sales on the parts that we manufacture because of our MAP policy with the other companies.
A couple of days ago I got on their website and found a set Corsa sport mufflers for sale. Granted the pricing listed was too good to be true but I have heard of sites having hour long specials with rediculous price drops. $96 for a set of mufflers that are usually $1000. So I put them in my cart and went to the checkout thinking it was an error and would adjust the price to the real price. Well it didnt, ended up at just over $104 after tax and shipping so I bought them.
By the next morning I checked my bank account and there it was, a charge from steeda for $104 and some change.
The next day I get a phone call from a Florida number blaming it on a "server issue". Now I know it wasn't a server doing that. Someone at their company messed up. To remove the issue they offered me a $38 discount on the mufflers that now cost $1038. And since I don't have that type of money laying around I was forced to cancel the order and wait for my money to be refunded.
Just be careful of those "super sale prices" these companies don't operate like convince stores that honer prices that employees mess up
If somebody really thought they were gonna buy a $1,000 new set of mufflers for $96, that's their problem. OBVIOUSLY an error. To hold the company responsible is really unreasonable.
Especially Corsa, which fixes their pricing better than most manufacturers, they're really proud of their product, and really don't want people getting great prices on them.
Not really even sure why, since I have yet to hear a Corsa system that I didn't think sounded raspy AF.
