I can't speak for Cdvision, but I wipe mine down with a damp towel after each car wash. I use an old terrycloth towel to dry the convertible top and rims, then wipe down the engine.

This is my experience. I always thought the car had a weird engine sound but I couldn't really figure out why. As soon as I removed the sound tube, I got good, clean and natural engine sound. The sound tube is a dumb idea in concept and execution...almost but not quite as bad as artificial engine noise through the radio that you can't turn off.

I didn't notice and difference in noise when I deleted my sound tube. I like how the engine compartment looks without it.
