I think Ford is making a mistake making so many changes every year or two. Its frustrating the owners Im sure. I know when they came out with the 05, it stayed the same till 09, leaving owners to enjoy their look without feeling obsolete or outdated six months after a large purchase. Make a design/style and stay with it for a few years, then do your refresh.
I love the GT 500 front ends, and the 2013 looks just like it. I love the all LED running and turning lights and the new rear light trim. I love that they are offering Brembo's with the automatic, because my wife needs to be able to drive it and I don't want her to learn in my new Mustang. Also after 8 years in my 5 speed in commute traffic I'm OK with it. I love the new deep dark blue paint and heat extractor hood. I also like the display screen between the gauges. I just wish they offered the Shaker Pro with the electronics package. This car is going to be my daily driver and our vacation cruiser, so power, handling and comfort are needed in equal amounts. Can't wait to get mine!

That is ridiculous. How many people would buy the same thing as last year? Part of the appeal is new tweaks and offerings. I'm sorry if they included things you couldn't get or that weren't offered or that it looks like someone's 2012 GT500. Part of being able to sell cars is improving them year to year, get over it.

Still love them now but would prefer an 03/04 cobra personally.

It's funny.....when the first photos of the '10s hit the internet, the Mustang faithful were unhappy with many of the styling cues.
1 - Many preferred the V6 front end (which was GT500-esq - that's irony, right there!) and didn't like the GTs "mutton chops"
2 - The black plastic, unpainted, side skirts were almost universally disliked
3 - The rear lights were probably the most controversial aspect
4 - Closely followed by that "full diaper"
So, Ford listens, makes changes after just a few years.........and you all keep *****in'![Biggrinjester](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)
For me, the '13 is what the S197 has been leading up to since '05 and is, in terms of looks, power and equipment, the perfect modern Mustang.
I mean.....this makes me go weak at the knees![Worship](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/worship.gif)

I can only hope the '15MY makes my heart beat as fast.

like the new LED headlights and rear end compared to the 2010 design. felt the shelby front end was unnecessary to spread to the rest of the range and has a mediocre look on the GT and V6, felt like a step backwards to me making them all the same. plus killing the red interior with sterling grey. i spoke with my wallet and allocated my dollars elsewhere until the 2015 comes out

I've always liked the look of black plastic trim on these cars. Keeps them sleek looking but that BOSS is tempting. Give me a GB one to put with my girl and I'll be set.
I too can't wait for 2015. Payments will be over on my car and then into the garage she goes for pampering and in comes a 2015 GT500 or Cobra. Whatever the beast of the time will be and I don't doubt she will be just as drop dead gorgeous as as my 12 is.
