Sorry I'm not used to hearing public transportation called "metro". Here it's regional rail or subway or "El" (elevated subway).

In any event, I agree with taking public transportation whenever possible. It saves gas, the planet and beautiful Mustangs from wear and tear.

For some reason in DC it's called the metro. Not sure why. Calling it the subway feels weird to me.

Anyways, DC is actually the most expensive subway system in the nation (but also the cleanest). ****ty reliability, though. Luckily the government pays for all my commuting expenses.

I'm philosophically and politically opposed to this, but I also won't turn down free money. But at least I can say I help keep America safe.

My EL is in Philly (the local government administration is called SEPTA). There are others in NY and Chicago. Basically an EL is a subway that travels above ground...

Anybody used this? I saw the pics of the Bullitt after he just had it applied. It was a deep shine!

It saves wear and tear, but not parking lot rash.

Took the train for a few years and the car I drove had low miles but a million door dings. Most commuters are always late, in a hurry, and could care less about your car.

There's always a down side; and yes people dont give a rats *** about your car. I was lucky enough to be able to walk to the train, but I can sympathize with the guys that park in an area that can cause damage.

The only thing on the paint was dust.

Also - I've only used either Zaino or Meguiar's NXT if I'm in a hurry.

We call it metro here, and subway is the place to get the $5 foot long.

Funny how that works. We call that style of sandwich a hoagie and pay anything from 3-10 bucks US for it; while a subway and El are still a subway and an El.

I chose Zaino partially because it took me less time than regular wax.
I find it easier to apply and takes less time.
Once you do an initial cleaning and polishing, the rest is easy.
Now that I have sealed the polish with the Zaino CS (clear seal) it is hard to look at in the sun.
The CS takes very little time to apply.
The only problem with Zaino is that it will show paint defects, so the car has to be perfect when you start.

Old pic sorry. Good mirror pic though.
Dark day, hard to take pics on sunny days because of reflection.

Vista is a metallic, plenty of metal in it.
Any scratches show up more than orange peel does with the Zaino.

I'm going with Zaino on my Kona Blue when it comes in. I've used it in the past and, while expensive, really brings out the shine like nothing else I've tried. The Megs Gold Class stuff is a great value for the money but doesn't have the same kind of reflectivity that Zaino does.

Based on the post above from Walt though, I'm thinking about Mothers now. . .

Right now I'm leaning to Klasse All in One and Klasse Sealant Gaze. Good stuff, yeah?

Yes. Klasse AIO is awesome, and the SG is great too, but very tough to get off by hand. I recommend a machine if you can find one.

I thought machines leave swirls? I have read Klasse is hard to get off by hand, but if you use a very little amount it isn't that bad.

Machines don't leave swirls, compounds that are too coarse do.

Improper techniques leave swirls. Rotary polishers can burn the paint if you're not careful, but DA polishers are a good starting point and are virtually fool-proof. Klasse applied via a DA machine will make your life much much easier.
