If Ford wants thier numbers up they need to start offering better incentives.

yep, still beating the Mustang, but that may be an indicator the current styling has run its course with the mainstream. Coupes like the Mustang and Camaro tend to be cyclic in that regard (on about a 3 year basis). Even though its been restyled and has had some dfamn good upgrades in 2010 and 2011 its probably not enough to overcome the "meh" factor in alot of peoples eyes.

They gotta be careful with that, discount the car to much and people come to expect it and when Ford tries to sell the brand new 2014 car at a reasonable rate of return people are all of a sudden crying foul and saying the car is a rip. As long as the current sales are paying the bills and putting some money in the bank its good enough for the time being.

I'm not a fan of moving the car upscale with the acompanying price increase that would be required, but neither do I wish to see the car devalued just to win some silly bragging rights.

The car is already starting to get out of reach for a lot of people. Especially in this economy! $500+ a month for a GT? C'mon!

It probably wouldn't hurt to run a few TV ads for the GT. The only ads I've seen in the last year have been for the V6.

The ads for the V8 Challenger are great! I like the one where they say "Made BY people who really really love cars, FOR people who really really love cars to drive past people who don't really care about cars at all."
