Wow! Old thread. My '13 convertible has a "Passenger Airbag Off" warning lamp there. It is on if there is weight in the passenger seat below a certain amount (airbag off to protect small children). My guess is the airbag system detects a problem if that bulb is missing.

 

Yeah that's it! Thanks. It came with this after market blue tooth thing so we've never even seen that there was something there that needed a light. Still don't get why the airbag light comes on when the bulb is unplugged but at least the girlfriend won't be complaining about it now but just give her a minute she'll find something new.

 

Speaking Of Airbags!

Just Today Saw a Car With All Airbags Deployed Due to Mega Monster Stereo Being Cranked Up! First time I Had Seen or Heard of That One! Good To Know! It Was on a Recent Just Rolled in Youtube Vid I Believe!
