side air bag light

side air bag light

put new carpet in 05 gt and had battery and seats disconnected for almost a day.when i put back the seats and rehooked the two connections the dash light for the side air bags is on.it flashs 5 times then goes out and does this 4 times then stays on.i have checked the connections and pulled the seats but nothing works.i checked the code and there is none.any ideas?

I have the same problem. I removed the seats and the outboard seat belt. When I put it back together I have the same problem.

Someone help this guy (and me too)!

Serious note, I am curious about the light, and also curious on the install of new carpet. easy job, just takes time?

Is there a separate light for the side airbags or is it just the normal airbag light?

its the airbag in the guys lap.ordered the carpet from blue oval ind..good quality.i work for a after market installer and he said the carpet was very good quality.not to hard as time comsuming.sore fingers from all the triming.when i get this light thing done, i'll post pics.
