I know some of you guys are just making some light hearted jokes but a lot of people are dead and there will be a lot more dead from radiation long before this is over. Not to mention the one's who don't die and just suffer the rest of their lives. I think there are bigger things to worry about than car parts and iPads.

Some of those workers trying to cool the reactors will most likely die. I can't see how they can be exposed to that much radiation for as long as they are and not have some deaths from it? Thank God there are people who are willing to put their life on the line for the greater of humanity.

We don't KNOW that a lot of people will die from the radiation. I suspect that when it's all over, far more people will have been killed directly by the tsunami than by radiation. Dead is dead, of course, and I'm not saying one way of dieing is better than the other. I take your larger point, though. It would be pretty selfish to complain because it took a few extra weeks to get your car when so many people have had family members wash out to sea and drown.

The situation over there is certainly dire, and I feel terrible for those affected by it. Right now, companies are making the necessary provisions over here to continue production while Japan picks up the pieces and starts the rebuilding process.

I can't think of anything in the Mustang that may be affected by the disaster. The Mazda6, on the other hand, may have some things slowed down by this.
