^ Sorry about that, typos, I was really tired... Is the 2.73 not limited slip? I thought it was. Maybe you know, I'm just curious by how they name the 3.31 order option here.

Yeah all 2011+ Mustangs have the limited slip now. Idk why they distinguish the 3.31 as limited slip, but the 2.73s rearend is too.

I think you made the right choice! I agree that the V6 PP has quite a bit of power and it looks really nice in SG. The sound doesn't bother me, either. I don't feel like I'll need to make any modifications to it--definitely not a wimpy sound by any means. Here in the states (or at least at the dealership I went to), I was told an MCA/PP combo is not possible. It's one or the other. Even if it were possible, though, the only advantage to MCA for me would be the grille. I would delete the MCA decal on the side and would go with the 19" PP wheels rather than the 18" MCA. Therefore, combining the two wasn't a "need" for me. Congrats on your order, cfraser. I'm sure you'll love it! My car will basically be the exact same as the one linked below (SG V6 PP w/ spoiler delete) and fairly similar to yours!

^ I think that guy has sold a lot of SG PPs, he should be getting a commission. Including from my dealer, even though I only chose the rear end from the PP.

The fact it was an MCA is kind of irrelevant to the PP, MCA being essentially an appearance package (though expanded a bit up here). Actually, we are not allowed to do a factory stripe delete for MCA. You can (obviously) do a spoiler delete though. The ghost stripe doesn't look bad at all, I mean if you're like me and don't prefer lower stripes. With SG it might look quite good, in that it's hardly noticeable lol, I haven't seen the combo yet. Easy enough to remove yourself too. It does make waxing etc. more complex for those very detail-oriented.

I was going to do a spoiler delete, like our SG PP god did. However, I was considering the rear camera too, and it wouldn't look good flopping around back there. We had a helluva time finding a "similar" car with the camera but without nav, so I could see the view and its size in the rv mirror. Found the same system in a new Fusion. The dealer and salespeople were not keen on this combo, but they showed me and I pretty much agree with them: they feel the Mustang isn't tall enough to really require it, and it works much better with nav. None of their MCAs had nav. I left it (and the spoiler definitely on) by saying whatever way gets the car to me soonest, IOW don't bypass a car for me just because it doesn't have the camera (in case one just happens to already be scheduled to be built for stock).

The MCA ghost stripe comes off very easily. My salesman literally walked up to an MCA in his lot and started peeling it off with his fingernails. I wouldn't even consider it a decal--it's more of a cheap sticker.

Ah, I came across the same situation: wanted the rear camera but didn't want a spoiler either. From reading your post, it seems a rear camera is still possible without a spoiler when you mention that it would be "flopping around back there." I wonder if this is just a northern thing too, because my dealer had said I would HAVE to have a spoiler in order to get the rear camera, and to me, I'd rather lose the rear camera and not have a spoiler than deal with having a spoiler in order to get the rear camera. What do you mean by "flopping around" exactly? Where would it be located without the spoiler?

Beautiful car, mac951. I can see why people were taking pics...love the PP/MCA combo with that color!

I was just kidding. You can't order the camera without the spoiler, though probably stranger things have accidentally happened...

Edit: I was thinking with the spoiler there I *might* be able to add an aftermarket camera myself, one with a larger display they tend to come with. The salesperson says most people use the spoiler to open the trunk. I do that with my current car, but it's on a slight pedestal so seems more natural.

Beautiful car. I have to say I have not seen a 2013 in any color that I did not like. The car is just so stunning you will always get thumbs up and head turns.

^ Your car will look much better than mine. Recall I had two 2013 GB MCAs parked beside each other, one with PP and one with the MCA wheels. Not even close for the PP looks, it was tough not to go PP, and if I lived in GA it would have been a lock.

Appreciate the compliment and help, but I've yet to see a 2013 Mustang that doesn't look good, regardless of color/package combination. You're gonna have a nice ride headed your way!

I ordered a 12 MCP/PP. MCA for looks and PP for handling. Love both. If you like whipping in and out of turns, get the PP - GT handling
