The padded hood is for all the J walkers to bounce off and have a soft landing, see they care .

"we've never seen those wheels before" - guy obviously doesnt know his Stangs. And its probably just another decoy designed to get the guys workng on the Camaro and Challenger projects riled up. I love how Ford is screwing with everyone.

why does everyone have such limited imagination when publishing this crap? like Ford is going to just change the front end and the car will look much like the current one....yeah right. It will look completely different much like the difference between the 98 and 99.

Explain to me what made the old turn signals inadequate? You can see them without a problem at night.

Another thought. Maybe those turn signals are just the '05s without the bumper cover over them, and mounted a little lower. If memory serves (and it may not), underneath the bumper cover, they're pretty large.
On that note, who even says there's a fascia underneath the masking? They might have just relocated the lights on a bumper-less car and are testing out how the positioning works in the real world.

I'm just confused because that car doesn't look much like these spy shots:

or maybe it does if you really study it, idk, the bumper is different unless they covered it up better in the latest picture since that alloy one was kind of a give away.

ah ok...lol. i misread "andquite" as inadequite (inadequate) instead of "and quite". I still say there might not be a bumper cover under the masking or maybe they cut away sections so they could move the turn signals.

Your memory is correct. When I swapped out my bumper i was shocked at how large they were.

They must be used on multiple vehicles, just put behind different shaped holes.

I'm not really liking the car rags speculation. I don't know, I really like alot of the crisp straight lines on the first gen S197's. I think they're going way to modern with the front bumper being all rounded and what not.

I just see chunks of stuff thrown on the hood and front of the bumper, turn signals look much bigger though. Who says that's the nose of a mustang under there anyway?

My daughter sent me these links, which look a lot like what some are saying is the concept for the 2009/2010 Mustang.

it hasn't been labelled as such...but some of those cues will more than likely (from what I've heard) be on the reskin/2010
