I was able to use both the $750 cash rebate from the brochure and the $500 cash back from Ford's website. Got a total of $1250 off when I picked up my car. Not bad, more than I figured there would be on a 2011 when they first came out.

Did you use the 0% from Ford Credit too?

no, couldn't get enough saved down to do a 5 year, had to go 6 year. Sucks, more interest in the long run, but It's what I get for being impatient and I've come to terms with it.

Yeah, I did the math and a 3.99% loan on $30k for 60 months would cost over $3k in financing (10% of the price of the car!) So I'll skip the $500 rebate and go with 0% for 36 months and save $2500 ($3000 minus the $500 I leave on the table) in the long run. The payments will suck though. The savings over a 36 month 3.99% loan would be about $1300. I'd be overjoyed if I could find 1.9% for 60 months.

The coupon attached to the brochure says something like, "take delivery from retail stock." Does it still apply to cars that we special ordered?

As long as you take delivery while it is valid, it does not matter how the car was ordered

Just got word from Five Oh Brian that the "$750 Private Cash" has been extended another 30 days.
