i called the ford 800 number and spoke with customer service first, then marketing 2nd about the brochure and the incentive and they both said that they have no control on the distribution of private incentives, marketing basically said that the private incentive is more than likely somthing that is given at random to people ordering the brochure and will runout, if it hasnt already...sooo....

Yes that's the official line. However everyone that I know who has ordered a paper brochure has gotten one. And the whole brochure prints off the computer the day its mailed including the Brochure Rebate. It will only give one per customer. If you order two brochures in the same name you will only get one containing the rebate. I dont think its ending just yet. If so they wouldnt have changed the wording from "2009/2010 Models" to "2010/2011 Models" about two weeks ago.

This program has been ongoing for a while now and although subject to end at any time I would still order one as it obviously has been working for Ford or it wouldnt have been in use for a couple of years.

Got my 3rd Mustang "brochure discount" today. $750 off any 2010/2011 Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicle (with a few exceptions). AND (this wasn't on the last one), preapproved for $50k in Ford Credit.

It's the same tri-fold brochure as before (same program ID: 33142) but with updated dates for the 2011. Also, the expiration date of the bonus cash is extended. It appears to always be 60 days from the print date.

It's like getting a check for $750 just for surfing the web and requesting some printed material!!!

That's good! How long did it take you to get your brochure?

Maybe 7-10 days? I know it was early last week or possibly the week before. None of them took that long.

I would use the term "brochure" loosely though. It's more of a complicated postcard. I think the postcard comes based on the brochure request. I certainly hope I actually get the FULL brochure from Ford someday but I'll happily settle for the $750 discount until it happens.

How do I get this brochure discount? I'm thinking of buying another Ford car as a daily driver. Thanks!

I think if you go on to Ford's web site and request a brochure, they will put you on their list and send you one

Mine looks like it's going to take about 6 weeks... less if you consider the dealer screwing around for 10 days. Ordered on 4/3 (entered into the system 4/13). Build date is tomorrow. ETA to dealer around 5/8 (seems optimistic.) Either way, likely less than 60 days.

Did it have the financing offer too or just the "next steps" block?

I received the 2010 Mustang brochire and there is no discount coupon in it. Just a $1000 cash back offer on a V6 2010 which is available to anyone right now. No coupon or code needed. I asked for a 2011 brochure but don't have it yet and its been over a week.

2010 Mustang
Nah, mine had that too but it also had a block for "pre-approval" for financing that wasn't on the first brochure I got (identical in most other respects.) That financing is DEFINITELY for a 2010 Mustang. Mine just had the extra pre-approval for $50k.

You could ask the dealer to check the code and see if it applies to a 2011 which it may. Can't hurt. I have one of those too but it'll be some more months before I can order my car. :-/

I too had ordered the brochure few weeks back and got the pre-approval for about $38K but not $750 rebate. Now not sure if there are any fine prints for that pre-approval. I have requested another hoping to get a $750 rebate. If I do get it will both the pre-approval and this combine? I am sure anyone can get the ford credit, it will be the interest rate that would really matter at the end..

Yeah, they'll combine. There's no exclusion with this offer except "other private offers" and "A/Z/D plan" and certain cars. Plus I believe there's a $500 bonus cash available PUBLICLY (the $750 is a private offer) and the 0% financing for 3 years (either $500 off or 0%).
