I never had an issue with the smell cause for the winter I also stored it with scented candles or air fresheners just as an added precaution. My cars were also stored with a thick coat of wax on them and leather protectants, so there was always some sort of chemical smell. If this is a DD you shouldn't notice a smell cause the car isn't sitting for extended periods of time. If it is for storage you just need to air out the car for a couple of hours.

Cleaning the engine I've found a cookie on the intake manifold of my '97. I found some other food there on occasion. No damage. Cleaned off. All I could figure is some creature put it there.

I discovered a mud dauber's (wasp) nest on the rear part of the drivers side head on my '91 Legend last time I washed it & was wiping the engine off. Those suckers work fast, must've built it during a recent 3-day weekend (I drive my GT on weekends unless the weather sucks). It was nice-n-crispy when I found it (after a week of commuting), so I scraped it off & cleaned up the residue. Cars and non-humans do NOT go together!
