Got my window sticker.

Serialized: 4/5
Built 4/12

Dealer told me I'd have it around the end of the month.

Updated again. This time there were enough order dates that I sorted by order date, then subsorted by future owner. Let me know if I missed you or if you see any errors (try a refresh if the spreadsheet doesn't look any different). Again, entries currently limited to V6 and GT orders.

Looks good. I was thinking of adding something to it, but forgot what it was.

The Canadian ones are still a little messed up. I was being too lazy to go back and figure out who all had a Canadian order, and I'm not sure how to list the trim for them either. And the image still cuts off some of the notes column as well...again just laziness on my part, because it would have taken me extra effort to create a wider screenshot.

Called my dealer (many times). Most salesman figure you wont have any use for the VIN so don't call you to give it unless you ask.

And I don't have a window sticker yet, from some of the other posts its usually the week of the build before the sticker is up.

I have the window sticker, just wondering if it mentioned delivery date.

My salesman hasn't mentioned the delay to me at all, and from other responses on here, wouldn't even know about it unless he was reading websites like this. He originally told me 4/30 for delivery, but if it's a week back, no big deal. Except for the fact that a week late is smack in the middle of my trip to Mexico.

No, but the window sticker will have build date on it (upper left corner, a long number ending in 0426 for April 26, for example).

For most people (assuming no delays), you take that date and add two weeks and thats your delivery date.

I bet you think you got a pretty good price. I got a similar package for about the same price, and I was convinced I got a good deal. But I'm seeing an awful lot of people at around the same price concerning relation to invoice.

The best salesmen make you think YOU got a deal...maybe we were taken for a ride?

Yeah, mine had a build date of 4/12, so it was supposed to get here before the end of the month, but not looking like that will happen. I can handle a week delay though.

Huh? the price I got was 300 bucks under invoice. I'm pretty confident that you'd be hard pressed to find a dealer in the country that would give you a better price. And I also know I didn't "get taken for a ride". The dealer I bought from doesn't haggle on price. They only have 1 price. It's 300 bucks below invoice for every and any car. The dealer maybe makes an 800 dollar profit on a 26 grand car. It doesn't get any fairer than that without the dealer actually making any money.

I did an inordinate amount of bargaining with dealers from all over the country. I must have talked to and gotten quotes from at least 20 internet sales departments. Then I pitted their best offers against one another.

I settled for a dealer that went for 500 under invoice, but had a non-existent processing fee. The best offer I got for the car itself was from a Virginia dealership offering 700 under invoice, but their processing fee was HUGE. Virginia dealerships all have processing fees from 300-600.
