Hey gang, went thru the builder on fords site and seem to be missing the part where I can throw 3.73 gears in there. How do I do this? Or just mention to dealer? About how much more $ ?

Just tell the dealer when you order. They are $395 retail, or $353 if you're using X-Plan.

I got the 3.73's comfort package, heated seats, heated mirrors w/pony lamp, glass roof, satin black tape stripe, and shaker pro system.

Awesome, now my brother can't say he's the only one.HaHa. He has same EXACT car..gears, roof, pro, What state are you in?Did they install front plate?

I didn't see any pics of a Sterling Gray GT/CS... Hope ya'll like... I'm picking it up Monday, but I got to drive it today... it's sweet! I'll post more pics when I get it home

Thanks! I had to order the auto for medical reasons... I have to say though, I really enjoyed the auto, it's better than I thought it would be and its plenty sporty.

****! I thought i was the only one for awhile. Well mine has roush exhaust so its still different. I live in kansas but i bought it in missouri so they put the stupid front plate on and screwed up the bumper. Im trying to figure out how i should fix it.

lol your right. For sure after i get my E force supercharger ordered.

I wouldn't do that unless you have a auto, the MT82 doesn't support over 400 hp or torque

Well thats bull****.... wtf is with the cheap manual trans. That pisses me off....

So i should of bought a boring auto trans so i can make more than 400hp. What happens when i do intake, tune, and boss manifold.. that will be right around 400 or just over.

They rate it like 380-390 trq. When something is rated it means it can withstand that amount in a certain amount of test cycles.it doesn't mean it can't handle 450,but it was built at the said amount in test.

So my options are spend $3400 on a new trans, $1200 to put it in, $800 on a new drive shaft, $6200 on e force supercharge for around 600hp, suspension upgrades to handle the extra power $1300, all at a cost of around $50900 with the car.

Or wait till the 2013 GT500 becomes a little cheaper next year for around $50k or so and have a car thats twice as good.... i think i should of waited.

My drive shaft wont do this if i rise the speed limiter will it?

No yours wont from rev limiter,Ford did it for the vibration and angle and length
