OEM Bumper Cover
Anyone buy a take off bumper cover from any shop such as New Take Off? Are they in good shape? Someone rode against the front of my bumper and will cost 800 at the body shop.

I purchased a 2010 rear bumper lower valence from New Takeoff Parts. There were some minor, slight scratches but at 60% less cost than a new one, I was willing to live with them. Of course, this is not the same as a painted part.

Yes, New takeoff.com are pretty good, they usually have some small scuffs but nothing really noticeable and can buff off.
It would still be better than having your bumper repaired.. it will never come out like the factory finish no matter what anyone says, repainted bumpers always crack and most body shops don't even know how to paint new ones.

That's a rather broad generalization. I've had multiple bumper covers on different cars repainted and replaced over the years and have not once had a color mismatch or paint issue.

I scratched and actually cracked my front bumper, lower valance, and cracked the flat piece that sits under the front bumper to protect the under body. So I went to ford to replace these parts and I paid less than 500 for all 3. So contact your dealer first.
