My stainless works catless long tubes and bassani catback will probably drown you out lol I don't like the gt500 exhaust (too tame for my taste). Personal preference.
You ever drag? You should get into it, fun fun fun! I can't seem to best 11.09 at 124. I'm still practicing launches with limited spin. Toughest part for me.

I keep getting all the Subaru WRX's challenging me when they're already in boost...
But it's funny about the Camaro's... had an SS cruise right beside me refusing to accelerate the other day. I don't think he realized I had a V6.
Either way... those GD Subaru's make me want to FI just to completely humiliate them...
First will be gears though.

I drive through town occasionally with a couple of my GoPro cams...for some reason when you have cameras on your car everyone becomes a race car driver. They'll do what they will. I guess they just get excited about being on camera...????

My 89 5.0 used to attract that sort of attention. Everyone seemed to want to try and take a slice... 
Payed the town a few times. Learned my lesson, took it to the track.

Never had anyone instigate any unlawful activity on back roads or the highway. I drive normally 98% of the time and will rarely get into the throttle on my Boss. Mostly thumbs up and turned heads around town. I really have no interest at all in street racing, I have a clean driving record and will keep it that way.

Not too obnoxious and just right for me. lol As far a drag racing......1. I would probably do something really stupid and look dumb...... or......2. I might really like it and that might not be a good thing..... I'll stick with going to car shows and let others enjoy the beauty of "The Mistress"
BTW you have some really good times. What mods do you have to you 5.0?

I just get thumbs up with the Shelby but when I had the 11 5.0 every asshat in a pickup wanted to race me. I don't race, street or track. I'd like to try some road course though and maybe some 1/4 mile runs just to see how bad I am...lol

Happens pretty rarely here. One that sticks out at me was some random friday night out on woodward which usually brings out the people with nice cars. A gt500 rev'd at me, not sure if he was just doing the mustang to mustang thing or he really was trying to get my to fall for a race. I just laughed at him and gave him a thumbs up. He ended up racing a older Camaro which in turn got me followed by a cop for awhile. Cause we both had black cars.
Seems to me that people in G8's like to try to bother the 5.0's not sure why, mostly young kids driving them and think their G8 is hot $hit.

A supercharged Trailblazer SS (with the obligatory 8000k HID headlight out) was trying profusely to get me to race last night. I had my windows down because it was a nice night, so I just shook my head at him. He kept hanging back, and then doing the ricer fly by, letting off with the blowoff valve releasing right next to me. Dumb idiot.

Happens literally every time I take the Boss out. Funny thing is I get a lot of the Charger and 300C guys wanting to race...don't really understand that one.
I have seen the Camaro phenomenon as well. I think enough of them have tried their luck with the new 5.0 to know better. That SS is SSlow.
