Normal oil pressure

Question - 2011 GT - 2 hours old to me.

1 - What should the oil pressure be at? Mine sits at 3/4 and never moves.

Minor issues - but I am a maniac

Issue 1 - ticking sound/occasional light squeak sound at idle.

Issue 2 - rattle in glove box area, resolved by pushing up on glove box - easy fix.

Issue 3 - They forgot to install the wheel locks at PDI - not really an issue but annoying. I will bring it back to let them do it.

The oil pressure 'gauge' is not really a gauge in the sense of telling you exactly what your oil pressure is. It just checks to see that the oil pressure is in the normal range and then shows around 3/4 unless something is wrong. It's like a graphical idiot light. Car makers found that if they show the true oil pressure some people freak out when the car is idling and it looks 'low', or that oil pressure varies greatly based on engine rpm.

The sender for the gauge is just a on/off pressure switch, so long as there is a minimum amount of pressure it will show on the same spot on the gauge. I don't know what the pressure set is on the sender, probably 7-9 psi or there about.

1. Fuel injectors - That you will have to live with / Possibly new belts or AC Pulley

2. Check the location of the extra bolts for the tags. Mine were rattling in the glove box.

3. What wheel locks? (No Security Package)
