Newbie to ordering - need help!
I have decided to get a 2013 Mustang and would like it as soon as possible, but I've never placed an order on a vehicle before so I have a few questions.
First of all, how soon can I place an order after the prices become official and generally how long does it take for the car to arrive?
Second, is it still possible to negotiate a price with the dealer placing the order and would it help to search for multiple dealers to compare final prices?
And finally as a question of opinion, how much of an improvement is the V6 Performance Package and would it be more worthwhile to get a base GT instead for about 5k more?
Many thanks!

When I ordered my 08 GT/CS..I went to multiple dealerships and said give me your best offer. I was amazed how different the offers were. One dealership was very upset with me for shopping around his offer. I am a consumer first, but he acted like I had 'betrayed' him. It also amazed me that the dealership I had bought multiple cars through did NOT give me the best price. It is your money, see who can give you the best price, and/or best "products" to make the best deal..ie free oil changes, maintenance plan, etc

as for price, spec out a '12 on ford.com and add $500 to it, that'll give you a ballpark est
edit: obviously ignore any rebates and incentives, they won't be on the 13's

Please speak thoroughly with your dealer about your 2013 orders. Once placed, please PM me with your dealer’s name and order numbers so I can track them for you.

Hey buddy, you can definitely use X-Plan for a 2013. If you have any questions on ordering the car, please, by all means, give me a call. My number is in my signature. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have on ordering a Mustang.
