New Steeda Rear X-brace - Keeps rear seats!

If you've eyed our rear X-brace which was more cost effective than the Laguna Seca brace but still required a rear seat delete you either didn't want to do or did but didn't want to pay the cost of the Boss parts, we now have an alternative that not only lets you keep the rear seats in place, but is much more effective as an actual brace.

Our new Steeda Rear Chassis X-brace mounts to the rear shock towers instead of attaching to the sheet metal behind the rear seats. This design is more effective and distributes the loads between the rear shocks, springs and the chassis, and not just the sheet metal of the vehicle. The result is brace that is much more effective at chassis deflection reduction with improved suspension compliance over a sheet metal mount design, and did I mention you get to keep the rear seats?

Direct product link for ordering is here:http://www.steeda.com/store/steeda-m...race-555-5093/

Very cool - any testing or analysis that shows the structural improvement adding this? May exist forthe boss and I just need to search... Nice to see the continued engineering efforts on these cars!

I am just happy you can keep the rear seats. I dont have any place to store mine and am not sure I want to loose them completely yet. I have them out on my '95 but not sure about the '11 yet.

It looks like the bottom mounts are held in place by the rubber of the shock. Please give us a break that can't possibly do any good unless it is bolted or welded to the body.

If you want the max effectiveness from the brace you have to weld it in. However a handful of people will not want it permanently mounted onto the vehicle and are more concerned about having it there for looks. Those customers can just bolt it on.

Hello Guys & Gals,

I just wanted to provide some feedback from one of our Steeda customers that purchased the brace ... he did a great write up on here:

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ce-review.html

Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help provide support in ordering.

Best Regards,

TJ
