Where did you get that pic?

I see dual zone auto climate control, stability control, large info display screen, heated AND cooled seats.

If the next Mustang has all that and looks good; I'll definitely be ordering.

I'd have said the current body reflects the 65/66 bodystyle most of all....they had lights in the grille too.

To replicate the '69, they'd have to set the main lights back in the wings by a few inches and pull the grille forward. They'd also need to change the glasshouse to incorporate the rear side window.

Oh, and I suspect the interior shot is a Photoshop. A good one, mind.

OOOOO... and push button keyless start. Finally Ford (Lincoln) is catching up with the rest of the auto industry.

[quote=Twin Turbo;1069290]Yep, this is a superb image by Thrust. If the 2010 looks like this, I'll be a happy man!

Although 65/66 also had fog lights in the grille.. 69 was the only year, other than the current S-197..in which the Mustang used them as driving lights..

As I'm sure you've noticed, that all 65-68 fog lights, are smaller than the main headlights.

However, after comparing the differences..you'll notice that the 69's driving lights, are the same size, as the main headlights..Just my $.02

The current S-197..isn't a reflection upon an individual body style, but is a metamorphosis between modern and classic design, in which gives the car it's own unique identity...while at the same time, remaining true to it's heritage..

As Ford took design elements from 65-66 (Shelby quarter windows) 67-68 (dash/gauges/hood/grille/headlights) 1969 (grille/driving lights) and 99-04 (flared wheelwells)

To support your point of many years being represented the back end reminds me of 1970 (flat boxy tail light panel with blocky tail lights)

I think people are putting too much stock into this 10' leak! It looks like a sketch or pic of a preproduction GT500 or future SE. I think it looks way to similar to the current body style to be the next bodystyle.

I agree. Looks like a preproduction drawing.

someone said that they dont like the front end looking so "squinty" so i took a pic and chopped the roofline to even it out, it looks alot better, it is my avatar pic, but i will post it. i also took out the fogs, lowered it, fattend the tires, and darkend the color of the car from a light color red to a fire red color. tell me wat yall think! thx
