Overall I'm happy I ordered car with it.
Yes I second that opinion. Split looks ridiculous.

My suggestion to Ford was to enable USB transfer of mp3 instead of audio CD into the jukebox, no response since 2012

Same here. Can't justify spending $149 a year after spending $199 in just a year..

I must be the only one that watches Top Gear. the Nav units in most cars suck ***. I find Sync Services / Destinations and Google Maps to be just fine for my uses.

If I could find a Power adapter/adjustable phone holder that plugged into the console's 12v port and kept my phone charging, it'd be perfect.

There is a holder that fits in the cd slot (who uses cds any more)

There are tons of that type of holder available. A search of Amazon for "lighter plug cell phone holder" came up with over 36,000 results. Most of them are not phone specific - they plug into the power port and have powered USB ports below the semi-universal phone holder so you could charge with a short cable.

I have had factory Nav systems in 1 Lexus, 4 Infinities, 2 Fords and 1 Chevrolet. All were purchased new. You know what? None of them were any **** good when it came to keeping them up to date. The updates were either not available or outrageously priced. The two updates I did purchase were out of date when I got them. The manufactures only want to sell the systems, they could care less about helping you keep these things up to date. That is why I now refuse to purchase them. I now use Garmins or Magellans. They sure are not as pretty, but I have free updates that really are updates, and they are actually much more functional than any factory system I have owned.
