Hopefully, they can figure out what changed with 6.1 to cause the button functionality glitch.
Glad you mentioned that it was 6.0 that last worked. I guess that's the version I had before installing the new update the other day from Google Play. The new version wreaked havoc with my bluetooth/Sync and I kept getting disconnected. I searched for "Pandora 6.0 version Android" and was able to find an apk. I uninstalled Pandora on my phone and reinstalled the 6.0 apk and now I have previous functionality with the buttons and everything is as it was before the glitch with 6.2.

I had no idea you could find older versions of apps on-line!

I did the same search, uninstalled Pandora, and reinstalled v6.0. Unfortunately, I drove another vehicle to work today- but I'm looking forward to getting home and trying the "new/old" version.

Thanks!

NOTE: Got home, tried Pandora (with the 6.0 version back on my phone), and bingo- I can use my buttons to change stations again!

It seems pretty conclusive that something got added starting with Pandora 6.1 that throws SYNC for a bit of a loop.

Removed Pandora and put version 6.0 back on it. Now Pandora wont even start. So didn't fix it for me.

99 times out of 100 Pandora isn't recognized by SYNC for me. When I have it running on my phone it will play via "bluetooth audio" command, but not "Mobile Apps" command. Spotify is always recognized so I just use that because it is nice to be able to see the artist info etc. I have tried a master reset multiple times. A reboot of the phone seems to be the only time it will pick up Spotify by voice command, but if I stop some where turn off the car and come back 10 minutes later or so it will not recognize the command. I will get her to say " Mobile Apps please say a command" I will say Pandora and she will say " Cancel route, is that correct". I will try again with the same results. Then I will say a few choice words to her then go to FM.

I've kept Pandora from updating, and version 6.0 allows me to change channels.

SYNC rarely finds Pandora on its own. Usually I have to restart either the phone or the car to get everything working (and even then, SYNC detects a "problem" with Pandora every so often).

Ah, first world problems!
