Can't believe it, 7 months after I traded in my 2012 V6, I found the key I lost 2 years ago......can I use this to program to use in my 2014 GT? Dang, I spent $175 to get a replacement spare key for the 12.....

NEVER MIND, DUH, IT DAWNED ON ME IT IS NOT CUT FOR MY 14.....

do yourself a favor and get a 20 buck key off ebay and have it cut at a old hardware store (newer stores wont cut keys from what ive found- they just clone/sell...) if you have two different/original keys, you can make as many as you want- but if you only have one (or one and one cloned key) you cant do anything but clone them for 100 bucks or whatever the hardware store sells them for- or take it to ford to have it reprogrammed for the new key.

ive still got a couple blanks i procrastinated on...this thread reminded me to get them cut asap, before i lose an original
