Nope. We live in Texas. There is no such thing as a "driving season" here. I feel for all you northerners out there.

I drove it this past winter in NJ with no problems and will be doing it again this year! If it were a Shelby or Boss I would most certainly garage it. The GT is definitely doable in cold weather/snow if you're careful and have all season/winter tires and the TC on.

Snow Tires here as well.

And I swear this thing goes faster in the cold weather.

Well as long as the engine is warmed up properly, you of course would feel like more power because the engine loves cooler air. The only problem comes with putting the power down to the wheels in the cold.

Another month and that is it for me......so far have 1,485 miles since I picked it up in February and brought it out of storage mid March, averaging 15.7 mpg. So far no issues.....

Yup. Reality is starting to sink in. I had planned back in May when I got my GT 'vert that it would only be a nice weather car and that's what I've stuck to.

There are still some cruises and shows that will going on until the end of October in Northwest Jersey, but we're at the point in the season where it's top dow to, top up back. I have several more coats of Liquid Glass to apply, then it's in the garage with a cover come November until the spring thaw.

Once in a while we get 70+ degree days in the deep winter here, so it'll come out sparingly as long as there's no ice or salt on the roads. And it'll be started every week.

It's gonna be a longer winter than usual.

I will miss my stang but she will be right outside my front door all winter, covered and under shelter. Tis bitter sweet though, as I have this fun new toy to keep me happy.

My truck is definately faster in cold weather. Its about a second faster in the 0 to 60 if I run it at -25 F compared to 80 F.

I watch the weather pretty closely but the time is coming near for storage. I hope I can get all of October and part of November yet before it happens. I guess it will give me time to collect parts for a Spring install.

I'm depressed. Planning on storing mine in early to mid November. I still have 5-6 weeks, but it seems like this summer really flew by. Sad. And this winter is supposed to be just as rough and snowy as the last one.

This! As an Ex-northerner, now Texan, this was literally the most exciting part about moving here....

Yes sir!

brought my new tires and rims to work... taking it in install the tire and balance and program with the car this friday.

It was actually cheaper for me to get these rims (with TPMS sensors) than it was to get steel wheels from ford! these are brand new 17" base of a mustang!
