I am starting to get scared they are going to be WAY too loud.

Can anyone who has heard these in person opine? I do NOT want to be that guy who sets off all the car alarms in the parking garage and who you can hear coming a mile away in the city and everyone thinks "what a douche" because you blew out their eardrums.

Mine just arrived 10 min. ago. Will be installing them tonight.

I got them from Dallas Mustang for $479 shipped to CA. Best price I have found.

As far as installation, the instructions say you need to break the stock weld that holds each clamp. Is this true? Hard to do?

I'm having a hell of a time finding a dealer who can install them around my area on the weekends. Due to my work hours the weekdays aren't possible.

Midas quoted me 180 dollars to install dual exhaust axlebacks. Rip off, right?

How did u get them that cheap? You didn't buy the 2010 ones did you. If not that was a great price.

They sound incredible. I just can't tell how loud they actually are. Since it's my daily driver, I'm torn between the bassanis and gt500s. I, like others here, dont want to wake the neighbors, and REFUSE to have any drone.

Tough decisions.

if you refuse to have ANY drone, then they are not for you, they do drone ever so slightly cruising at 60mphish, but the radio easily covers it..

Thanks for the quick help. Since this will be my daily driver, and I do a lot of highway driving, I think I'm going to get the GT500's first. If I don't like them, I figure I can sell them here for a small loss and get the bassanis.

Now if only my car would get delivered! I'm tired of waiting!

Yeah it is tue, but they're really easy to break, i used a cold chisel and small hammer and gently tapped the weld which broke after 5 minutes without damaging the muffler.

Talk to other muffler shops. My experience has been that (a) their prices are more negotiable than a car salesman and (b) if they aren't busy, they will do it for almost nothing.

I found a mobile mechanic who'll come out to my place after work (7PM for me) tomorrow (when I get the mufflers) for 45 bucks an hour.

Will keep y'all updated.

Hmmm just curious but this is something on the stock muffler? Just wondering cause i had a shop do my original catback. Is this something I gotta worry about when putting these bassanis on with my original catback pipes. Thx.

I am sold on these. I was thinking about getting the Borla Touring axlebacks but these Bassanis sound great!
