Heated seats in my erstwhile BMW 540 sedan was a $500 option, and there were THREE settings, low, medium, and high. As you all know the Mustang comfort package is $595. (IIRC) and has only ONE setting. 'Nuf said.

PS - I really like the Escape V6. That is all.

A lot of people having been using the FRPP springs on stock shocks/struts. Some people say an adjustable panhard bar is needed, some don't.

I recently ordered the FRPP "K" Springs, but I'm waiting til after install to see if the rearend is too far off center before anything else is ordered.
Let us know how far that is off.... I'm looking at those too!

Wait... you should have bought a car with just 402HP at the crank instead then!! just jiggin' ya.. ha ha

fuel ratings

horsepower=Regular Fuel: 402 @ 6.500, Premium Fuel: 412 @ 6,500
torque=Regular Fuel: 377@4250, Premium Fuel: 390 @ 4,250

why on earth did you buy a GT to save fuel...why didn't you just buy the V6?

Then you need to visit your service department. The backs of the seats are heated also.

The seats in my '07 are great on cold days (not many in Vegas), but thankfully not nearly as hot as what my mother had in her Saturn Vue. Her seat burned a hole in a brand new jacket she had a couple years ago. She switched to the new Escape this summer, we'll see how those seats handle the Iowa winter this year.

And yeah, my seats are heated both bottom and back. I feel it mostly around my belt from the back, and all over on the bottom. Heated seats rock!

I have the Adaptive Spark Ignition. And I have to cut every corner thank you very much. Unless I have cash ahead for a few fun tankfuls, 87 and higher mileage it is. I'm thankful for Ford's advanced tech option.

After installing the FRPP K springs, the axle shifted about 1/4" to the left. It was not as much as I was expecting.

It looks GOOD too I'm glad I went with the 1.5" K springs over the Ps.

I installed the Roush Rear springs on my car to level it off ... I also bought an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear since on my 2006 it was pretty far off after the same springs. My 2010 is only about 1/8 - 1/4 inch off center AFTER the springs so I didn't bother installing the bar. I'll check it again in a year to see if it has settled and I need the bar.
