How to disable factory perimeter alarm?

Is there anyway we can disable the interior proximity sensor or the alarm without hacking through wires? a close friend of mine really loves his 13 GT and loved to leave windows down in his drive way but the alarm keeps going off ..manual only shows how to disarm the alarm, not disable..thanks

No disable, only disarm.

And if it were to be disabled, it would totally disable the system, leaving no protection.

If you were to leave the car sitting with the windows down then you may as well just leave it unlocked, then the alarm won't go off.

I have a 2011 and if I lock the car the old fashion way, insert key and turn, that will arm the car but WILL NOT arm the interior sensor. It is great for those summer days when you have the windows down and throw something in the car or reach in to grab something. Give it a try. It works for me.
