Cool, I know what you mean. Most of my family and friends are Chevy guys and I'm getting so tired about hearing how great the Camaro is. I agree it will be mechanically better than the Mustang because it offers more power IRS, 6 speed.Oh yeah and its 5 YEARS NEWER! Though it will likely be the better car on paper it's interior is ugly as sin, costs more, the overall look I have fixed feelings about, and for the money of a fully topped out SS I'd rather have a used 07-09 GT500.

People are excited because it catches the eye, like the Challenger. Wait until we see them on the roads of America and they will lose the initial appeal much like the current Mustang. Remember back in early 05' people snapping their necks when they saw one on the road? Though it is bad for Ford I hope this competition forces rebates on the 10+ Mustangs and maybe keeps ADMs down for the GT500 and other SE cars.

Oh got some new Camaro news that is good for Ford! Due to GM's economic state the Camaro has pulled production of a convertible model for at least the first model year and possibly longer. Dodge has confirmed that there will not be a convertible Challenger due to lack of resources.

So as of right now the Mustang is the only convertible pony car on the market!

Only the production model, is 5 years newer. However being as the concept version, has been around since 2006, and that very little has changed from concept to production model. As far as I'm concerned, the 2010 Camaro, is technically just one year newer than the current S-197 Mustang !

Well no offense, but if GM doesn't get a government bailout. Then it appears more than likely, we may not even see the 2010 Camaro make it to production, in time for the March 09 launch.

I know we have long debated this, but it really isn't. This car will seem different to people once it is actually seen in person, at least thats how I felt before seeing the 05' car in person.

That's why I previously stated, as far as I'm concerned. In other words, just my own personal opinion.
