Have You Weighed Your 5.0?

Just curious to see if anyone has actually weighed their car, not stuff you read online.

If you have weighed it please list your cars options.

I know when mine gets here its gonna get weighed the first day I have it.

I weighed my '11 Brembo GT Coupe at the truck scales along Interstate 5 just south of Seattle recently (accuracy to within +/- 20 lbs). My car is a base GT (no heavy stereo or luxury stuff), just the Brembo Pkg and 3.73 gears. With 1/3 tank of fuel it weighed 3520 lbs.

With a full tank of gas, the extra 10 gallons should have added another 70 lbs or so, putting it just shy of 3600 lbs.

With a full tank and me in it the truck scale said 3800 on the nose. Subtract the 175 for me and puts mine at 3625. Loaded Brembo, 6M.

I weighed mine at the local drag strip. '11 GT Premium, Auto, all stock.

With me in it and about 1/2 tank of fuel = 3847 lbs.

I haven't weighed mine but here is an invoice of a car exactly like mine except for color built within a few weeks of mine. It shows a shipping weight of 3310 lbs.

Mine with all the fluids hits 3650 or so on the scales. GT Premium with Comfort, Security, Brembo package, 3.73s, and spoiler delete.

Spare and the jack were in the car, too.

The shipping weight on the invoice is with just a couple gallons of gas and is for a base model with zero options - even if the invoice is for a premium model with all the options.

Thanks. That's good to know. I should be close. Just a spoiler and the difference between Performance Package wheel/tires, control arms, springs, etc. Probably not much since the PP wheels are lighter than the other 18 and 19 inch wheels. Don't know about the base 17s.

Also, jumped in in the middle and didn't realize this thread was just for GT weights.

Interesting... I had wondered about that since my '00 V6's shipping weight was listed at just UNDER 3000lb.

Well I got my car today, and weighed it as promised!

Base GT only option is gears, almost 3/4 tank of fuel and it weighed 3520!! I am excited about that!
