[QUOTE=Stage_3;6967497]^^NICE!!!
There ya go Rick! Should be beastly. I assume you're keeping the Whipple and slapping it on there because of the blower cams? Going to up the boost a little?

Exactly !!! My wipple is going right on the new motor and keeping it at 15 lb of boost. We will see what happens after that.

That was the main reason of my decision making. Besides that, since the motor is out, I have decided to change the clutch to a Spec(stage 3) which can handle 750 ft-lb of torque !!!

I have some questions for you Rick, about your build and chosing DSS.
How/why did you chose DSS?
How did you get your car to DSS? I'm assuming enclosed trailer transport?
Thanks man. I appreciate your reply.

I heard DSS makes good motors and Mustang Magic in Deer Park, NY referred them also. So I brought my car to Mustang Magic, then they took it from there.

BTW, also originally I was going to get the Aluminator Engine from Ford Racing sold by American Muscle, which is almost identical from the engine I got from DSSracing now, but Ford Racing discontinued my engine for the 2011-2014 platform. That's another reason why I went to DSSracing.

So, no more Aluminator engines for the 2011-2014 Mustangs??

can I ask a DUMB question, forgive my ignorance
.
But a 2015/2016 Ford crate engine/aluminator cannot/will not bolt on a 2010-2014 body? And if it can't, are the modifications SIMPLE to be able to do so? or are they not worth it/impossible?
Because if it does fit, then the fact that Ford discontinued the 2011-2014 5.0 coyotes is not an issue since we can order the 15/16!!!

I believe the issue is the computer and possibly the wiring harness is different.

What would the conversion cost? What is the solution? I suspect that swapping ECUs isn't an option since this would violate all kinds of emissions regulation-based software, VIN, etc...

It's funny how these crate engines are so sporadically available.
Mopar Performance is notorious for this. For the longest time, they listed their Magnum 300 and Magnum 380 motors in the catalogue but they were perpetually on back order...now they're finally gone. In their place are bored/stroked small blocks (IIRC, they offer an LA/Smallblock 440!)...and it may be the same situation where they are seldom in stock.
