If a SLP air intake is installed at the factory its factory. If the SLP part is installed by the dealership that is not factory. Was it on the original window sticker?
When their parts are put on by the factory, it will not show as a dealer add-on sticker... I'm specifically talking about their air intake (or a non-labeled facsimile) making it to the assembly line for the SS around 2012.

They are working with GM on a few things for 2012 that made me hold off on buying 2010 SS...

Hi Slim. I have it on good authority the next LS3 to be used in the HSV range will be upgraded with LS7 cams, headers, and valves (or valve springs). I'm not sure if there are any other changes. What kind of power increase would this have? Cheers.

Cool. If it meets emissions standards I'm sure GM will use it.

Forgot to ask, How much are you expecting this CAI to make? I was looking on C5 and noticed most CAIs don't do much for an SS. It looks like the factory airbox is a pretty good one.
